Lybra S. Clemons is a seasoned c-suite executive with more than 15 years of Human Resources, Talent Development, and Diversity professional experience in Fortune 500 companies. Lybra has an extensive background in building, creating, and implementing results-driven strategic plans for corporations resulting in stronger retention of top talent, higher engagement of the workforce Her track record has been in leveraging this diversity expertise and partnerships in order to scale product outreach and marketing to diverse communities and markets.
Most recently, Lybra was the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion responsible for managing and overseeing all global diversity initiatives for the company — including developing a framework and strategy for diversity talent analytics, engagement, and recruitment. This framework has been the basis for PayPal’s ongoing recognition as one of the top companies for diversity in Silicon Valley.
Prior to her role at PayPal, Lybra held critical roles in the diversity and inclusion space with Morgan Stanley, the Brunswick Group, and American Express.
Lybra is often called upon as a keynote speaker, coach, and advisor by global companies and organizations. In addition, Lybra has extensive global experience in Europe, Africa, and Central America.
Lybra serves on the Board of Directors of @Makers, How Women Lead Silicon Valley Executive Board of Advisors, and has been recognized by Black Enterprise as one of the Top Corporate Women in Diversity. She is an advisor to organizations such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Feminist Press, The Council of Urban Professionals, and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs Black Alumni Council.
Lybra holds a B.A. in Political Science from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and an Executive Management certificate from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
