Bryan is from the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has been fascinated with science since childhood. Bryan earned a bachelor’s degree in biological/nutritional sciences from Louisiana State University in 2008 and in 2016 completed a dual Ph.D./M.B.A. in molecular medicine and business administration at Wake Forest University. While working as a bench scientist, Bryan simultaneously infused business and tech applications to translate complex science into meaningful strategies to assist patients. He has been involved in the start-up for several biotechnology ventures and provided scientific support and council to a number of organizations. Moreover, he is an advocate of professional development and routinely mentors students on executive leadership. He currently works as a Regional Medical Scientific Director for cardiovascular medical affairs within Merck Research Labs.
